Sprig Punch Wreaths |
I enjoyed playing with the new Sprig Punch (page 29 Holiday Catalog) today and created these pretty wreaths to embellish these two cards. This is up there with my punches. In addition to using this punch to make wreaths, add sprigs to embellish or accent any project.

Use the Sprig Punch to make wreaths or to embellish any project. |
Step-By-Step Tutorial:
Create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base using any Stampin' Up! card stock you choose and the Stampin' Trimmer.
Cut out 14 sprigs for each wreath. One I used Olive Olive and Mossy Meadow and the other was made with Whisper White card stock.
Cut out two circles using the Layering Cirlce Framlits Dies to create the wreath base.
Using the Stampin' Trimmer, cut the matting (5 1/4 x 4). I used Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper for the first one and All is Bright Designer Series Paper for the second card.
Layer the sprigs on top of the circle you created and add embellishments to the wreath if you wish. I used Glitter Enamel Dots. Adhere Mini Dimensionals to the back of the wreath for dimension.
Using ribbon (Real Red 3/8" Mixed Ribbon, cut a (six (6) inch piece, and adhere it around the matting layer.
Now add any sentiment you wish. I used a stamp from the Dashing Deer stamp set (page 9 of the Holiday Catalog) and stamped the "Happiest Christmas Wishes" onto a piece of Whisper White card stock cut out with the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies. Adhere Stampin' Dimensionals to the back for dimension and adhere it on top of the ribbon.
Layer everything together and you're done!
