I was inspired to create this card from a card I saw on Pinterest and made it my own. I just love the clean, freshness that it brings. It's quick and easy and may be used for pretty much every occasion by changing the sentiment.
Step-By-Step Tutorial:
Create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base using Stampin' Up! Sahara Sand card stock and the Stampin' Trimmer.
Cut out six (6) 1 5/8 x 1 5/8 squares and emboss them using the Big Shot using any embossing folders of choice. I used the Swirls & Curls and Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folders (from the Holiday Catalog pages 5 & 43), Hexagons Dynamic, Quilt Top, Tufted, Polka Dot Basics (from the Annual Catalog pages 222 & 223).
Cut a 16" piece of Gold cord (page 200 of the Annual Catalog) and wrap it around one of the squares and tie a bow.
Adhere the squares to a 5 3/8 x 3 1/2 piece of Sahara Sand card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the Sahara Sand layer with the squares to a 5 7/8 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White card stock and adhere those layers to the top of your card base.
Now add any sentiment you wish. I used a stamp from the Dashing Deer stamp set (page 9 of the Holiday Catalog) and stamped the "Happiest Christmas Wishes" onto a 2 2/8 x 7/8 piece of Whisper White card stock using Vegas Gold Shimmer paint (page 38 Holdiday Catalog). Then I adhered the sentiment to a 2 7/8 x 1 7/8 piece of Sahara Sand card stock.
Adhere the sentiment to the top of your card using Stampin' Dimensionals and your done!
