Hello everyone! Are you ready for the weekend?
Today I created another super simple "quilted" card but this one is using the Stampin' Up! Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (page 189 Annual Catalog). Our amazing dental hygenist just had a baby boy so I made a card to give to her. By the way, JanMarie Grabner, my super sweeet co-worker from many years ago gave this little stuffed animal to me at my baby shower, 30 years ago. I've been saving it in my son's baby box for when he and his wife have a baby and decided to take it out and use it for the photo.

Details:
- Card Base: Whisper White card stock cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, then scored down the middle.
- Matting: Cut one piece of card stock 5 1/4" x 4" (Soft Sea Foam used here).
- Quilt Base: Cut another piece of card stock 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Whisper White).
- Cut four (4) 1" x 6 " strips from four (4) different patterns of Designer Series Paper. I used Twinkle Twinkle DSP for this card.
- Cut one (1) square for starting point in the middle (Twinkle Twinkle DSP used here). I used a 1" square however you could use 1/2" if you prefer.
- Adhere the 1" square to the middle of the quilt base.
- Next adhere either Snail Adhesive or Multipurpose Liquid Glue all over the base around the 1" square.
- Begin gluing down the 1" strips around the square as shown above.
- When completed adding all of the strips, trim the excess designer series paper using either the paper trimmer or paper snips.
- Sentiment: "Oh, Baby" from the Baby We've Gown stamp set stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies in Memento black ink, colored the pacifier with Balmy Blue Stampin' Write marker and adhered it to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
