Laura's Stamping Place - Tropical Chic Card

I just can't enough of this Tropical Chic Stamp and Thinlet bundle! Love the way the designer series papers, matching card stock and thinlets all coordinate so well.

Here's the details on how I made this pretty amazing card.
  • Create a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"card base using Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and the Stampin' Up! Trimmer. Score down the middle.
  • Cut another piece of Whisper White card stock to 3 5/8 x 1" and stamp it with the "With much love & thanks stamp from the Tropical Chic stamp set.
  • Cut a piece of Tropical Escape  6" x 6" Designer Series Paper to 5 1/4' x 4" for the background mat.
  • Then place the Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper into the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot.
  • Cut another piece of Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper to 4 1/4" x 2 1/2".
  • Cut two pieces of Shaded Spruce card stock into 3 7/8" x 1 1/8" and 4 1/2" x 3 3/4".
  • Using the fern thinlet from the Tropical Thinlets Dies, I cut out two pieces using the Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green card stock.
  • Next I stamped Whisper White card stock with the flower stamp from the Tropical Chic stamp set using the Pretty in Pink Classic ink pad.
  • I  die cut out the flower that I stamped using the Big Shot.
  • Stamp the leaf from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist and die cut it out using the Tropical Thinlets Die.
  • The word "Thanks" is from the Tropical Chic stamp set.
  • I adhered the layers onto the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Dimensionals.
  • It may be difficult to see but after the entire card was together I used Clear Wink of Stella Glitter to make the flowers pop a bit.
