I had fun today playing with the Embossing Paste to make snow on the tree branches. Step-by-step instructions to make this card are below.
Products used:
Festive Farmhouse DSP, In the Woods Framelits Dies, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Very Vanilla Stock, Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder, Sprig Punch, Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper, Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set, Embossing Paste and Clear Wink of Stella.
Instructions to make this card:
- Cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" using the Stampin' Trimmer and Score or fold in half to create the card base.
- Cut one piece of Cherry Cobbler to 5" x 1 1/4".
- Cut one piece of Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper to 5" x 3 3/4".
- Cut one piece of Very Vanilla card stock to 2 1/2" x 1 3/4"
- Cut two pieces of Mossy Meadow card stock to 5 1/4" x 4" and 2 5/8" x 2".
- Run the 5" x 1 1/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock through the Big Stock using the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
- Cut the tree from the In the Woods Thinlits Dies from a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock.
- Cut out two sprigs from the Sprig Punch and a piece of Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper.
- Stamp the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set onto the piece of Very Vanilla card stock.
- Next I brushed on some Embossing Paste onto the tree branches to create the snow.
- I brushed on Clear Wink of Stella on the entire tree to give it a little shimmer.
- Adhere all of the elements using Snail or Multipurpose liquid glue. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to give the sentiment dimension.
