Today's post is of a cute little Christmas card I created using the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper and the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies. I was inspired to create this card after seeing a post on Mary Fish's blog. I changed it up, made it my own and above is the card I created.
The main products used: Festive Farmhouse DSP, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Stock, Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder, Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies, Dashing Deer Stamp Set, and a piece of "wood" paper from Nature's Own DSP. There is a complete list of supplies used below.
Instructions to make this card:
- Cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" using the Stampin' Trimmer and fold in half to create the card base.
- Cut three pieces of Cherry Cobbler as follows: 5 1/4" x 4", 4" x 3 1/4" and 4 1/4" x 1 1/4".
- Cut one piece of Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper to 5" x 3 3/4".
- Cut one piece of Very Vanilla card stock to 3 3/4" x 3".
- Run the 4 1/4" x 1 1/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock through the Big Stock using the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
- Cut out the deer using a piece of Wood Texture Designer Series Paper (I used a piece of "wood" paper from the Nature's Own Designer Series Paper) and run it through the Big Shot using one of the deers from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies set.
- Cut out a star from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies set and a piece of Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper.
- Stamp the "Happiest Chistmas Wishes" sentiment from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set onto the piece of Very Vanilla card stock.
- Adhere all of the pieces as shown and add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of the star.
